Fan Will Match All Donations Up to $7500

A longtime fan contacted us Monday night and offered to match all donations we receive through Sunday, January 26, at 11:59 p.m. PST, up to a cumulative total of $7500.
That fan had no idea what an answered prayer that was. It's been three months since our last appeal letter, but I knew I needed to send one. The band once again has big expenses coming due and has been almost four months behind on paying me.
Before that fan contacted me, I was secretly lamenting the fact that, at a time when I should be celebrating my father's life and legacy with family and friends, I was going to be distracted about what to say in an appeal letter. God turned that distraction to elation. Praise the Lord! I haven't had time to announce the donor match till now.
We've had a number of fans offer donor matches over the years, and I remember and praise God for them all, but this one will forever be fixed in my memory when I think about my dad's passing. And he would love that. He loved hearing about each donor match and other dramatic ways God provided, and he always rejoiced with me.
