ApX Helps Michigan Pastor Overcome Discouragement
Sat., Feb. 1. 2020 2:19pm EST
Here's another encouraging email we got from a pastor recently:Coming into the new year, I look over 2019, so many seeds sown, so few seemed to have sprung up. Sometimes, in ministry, the heartache can rival the joys.
But when that feeling hits, I often sit down with some headphones on and listen to your song, "Wherever You Will Sow." It never fails to put things into perspective for me as a pastor. I just wanted to say thanks.
I know it is an older parody, but I've used it for years when the devil tries to get me discouraged. Pastors are the ones looked to teach and inspire and we have to find ways to be fed and inspired because we don't get to sit and listen to sermons much. Sometimes all it takes is a little 4 minute "sermon" in the form of a song to help.
Thanks again.

Bronson MI In case you've never heard the song Pastor Frank is describing, there are two versions — a studio version and a live version with an impromptu spoken intro that somehow turned out just right for the song. Here's a lyric-video a fan made for the live version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNJA302WHDc
