Clues for This Weekend's Single

We're planning to release our 11th single of 2020 by the end of this weekend, Lord willing. Here are your clues. Think you know the artists? See how many references within the clues you can spot. We counted 14 in all.
SONG #1
Solomon had an I.Q. high enough to put all other wise men to shame, cementing his rad reputation as someone to believe in while he mystified the masses. He enjoyed runaway popularity, immeasurable riches, and a 15 minutes of fame that still hasn't expired 3000 years later. Yet he's best remembered for saying "all is vanity." Come again?
SONG #2
You can take the Book of Daniel and break it up into two sections: Chapters 1-6 show him growing up the hard way a long, long way from home; 7-12 show him living in a dream. Modern critics fight tooth and nail to discredit Daniel, as Darius' lowdown and dirty advisors did back then. Blinded by science, they refuse to believe in predictive prophecy.
