Clues for This Weekend's Single

We plan to release our 12th single of 2020 by the end of this weekend, Lord willing. Here are your clues. Think you know the artists? See how many references within the clues you can spot. We counted at least 16.
SONG #1
Jesus gave us a mountain of evidence that He was the Messiah if you'll just open up your eyes. Do you know that He healed the blind at least three different times (Matthew 9:27-31, Mark 8:22-26, and John 9:1-38)? That should send a message to anybody who has their head on straight. But some thick-headed folks resolve not to look or see.

Life in the city of Jerusalem would never be the same after the stranger from Nazareth made His triumphant entry. People swarmed the streets to check it out, hearts full of joy. It's not like it's high fashion to ride into town on a donkey, but sometimes signs of change won't blow you away like the power of a jet or the bright lights of Hollywood.
