We Need Help but Fan Will Match Donations

In last Friday's newsletter, I had to send a follow-up appeal letter to the one we sent a month ago.
Many fans who get these weekly updates don't get our newsletters, so I'll include what I said below, because we still need help. But, first, here's a bright spot:
FAN WILL MATCH DONATIONS THIS WEEK
Since then, a fan in New York has contacted us and offered to match all donations we receive from tonight through this Saturday, September 5, at 11:59 p.m. PDT, up to a cumulative total of $500.
We are thankful for this blessing. In the meantime, in case you missed the explanation of the follow-up appeal, here's the what I said:
WHY WE STILL NEED HELP
A month ago, I sent out our first appeal since March. Despite COVID-19, God had enabled us to go our longest stretch in years without asking fans for help. When we asked, they did help, but we still need more help.
We're supposed to receive a big tax-credit refund because we haven't laid anybody off, but we've been waiting for that for a while. I was hoping we'd get it before I had to send this, but I had hoped we'd get it before the appeal letter I sent in July, too.
Meanwhile, the band has several big expenses coming due on the first of the month (Tuesday). What's more, ApX is about four months behind in paying me, and my family has big expenses coming up, too.
That's why I'm here. I fully believe that we're still doing what God called us to do in ApX. I know He knows our needs. I just make those needs known to our fans. God can provide however He wants.
We have two new songs slated to come out this weekend, and I just finished writing a parody for our next single. And the new digital songbook is getting closer to completion. There's a lot going on to be excited about.
