Clues for 2020 Single #18
Fri., Oct. 16. 2020 12:58pm EDT
We plan to release our 18th single of 2020 by the end of this weekend, Lord willing. Here are your clues. Think you know the artists? See how many references within the clues you can spot. We counted 12.
SONG #1
When you think of biblical lepers, you may have a Samaritan man on your mind. He's the most famous, so It's not a wonder. But do some reminiscing — we've done three songs about lepers, and he was the first under the wire. We thought it would be a cool change of pace to cover the other guy Jesus healed in Matthew 8, Mark 1, and Luke 5.
SONG #2
The title of the Bible's fourth book is misleading. "I got enough math at my old school," you say. "I don't want to do it again. You can't buy a thrill in a book like that. The things that pass for knowledge I can't understand. You think I'm a bookkeeper's son?" Actually, the book is about Israel's desert years before they entered their home at last.
