Stay Out of Trouble

J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here again.
After last week's newsletter, I received calls from a couple relatives who were concerned that I might be attending protests or rallies in Washington DC or some state capital this week. Don't worry; I have no intention — nor did I ever have any intention — of going to any protests or rallies this week, not in DC nor anywhere else. And nobody else I know does, either. I do not support violence for political means, and nobody else I associate with does, either.
Furthermore, there are 35,000 troops in D.C. right now, and they have it set up like a war zone. Who in their right mind would go there to protest? But even before there was any word of any troops, I didn't know of anybody who had plans of going there — that includes any people I know personally or any conservative people that I've followed in the news or on social media.
These news stories that have been circulating about protests scheduled for this coming week — I don't know where they are coming from, although I have my suspicions. Even the flyer I've seen in news stories doesn't look like any flyers I have ever seen for anything conservative. In fact, it used red and yellow (CCP and USSR colors, including yellow stars — NOT popular with people at any marches I attended) not the typical red, white, and blue.
Furthermore, it looks suspiciously like another flyer produced over two months ago by a group from the other side of the political fence. Check out this article for a comparison of them side by side:

The previous marches/rallies were organized, scheduled, and well-publicized by established, known groups like Women for Trump and Stop the Steal, etc. As far as I'm aware, those organizations have no such events scheduled. And none of those previous marches/rallies has advocated or condoned violence. Matt Couch, a well-known, outspoken Christian who has been at all of the previous rallies tweeted this today:
"There are ZERO Conservative groups going to State Capitols or Washington, D.C from now until the inauguration. If you hear of any, SAY NO! Stay Home, do NOT fall into this trap of going to these moronic trapped events. DO NOT GO. Be Smart, Stay Home, Stay in Prayer!"
Amen to that! And let me add this quote from a guy I've been following now for almost 33 years:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6).
