Darnell Cline Transferred to Long-Term Rehab

Although he's still facing many challenges, things continue to progress positively for ApX fan Sonja Cline's husband, Darnell, who has been battling severe complications from COVID, which he contacted in early May.
Here are two updates Sonja sent this week:
WEDNESDAY
Boy oh boy! Do I ever have some awesome news to report!
Today, they added a voice valve to Darnell's trach and he is able to communicate with me now. In addition to that, he is now able to eat and drink regular food!
Oh my goodness, I have looked so forward to this day for so long! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! God is so good! Hallelujah!

P.S. Please continue to pray for that horrendous ulcer on his backside. It is causing him a terrible amount of pain.
FRIDAY
Good news! Darnell transferred to a long-term rehabilitation center today — YAY!
It was a rough transition but things are progressing.
Honestly, I'm glad that he has made it to this step! One thing among the many to pray about tho, neither one of us was warmly welcomed and we were treated harshly by the staff as well.
I didn't realize it took hours to admit him, and he needed their help. This really frustrated them and, honestly, I wasn't happy with their attitude and their bedside manner was lousy.
Not sure how this leg of the journey will go with all this but I'm trusting God will make a way here too.
