"Apol-acoustiX" Hits Stores June 1

Our 11th CD, "Apol-acoustiX," which has been available to our online fans for two months now, finally hits Christian bookstores nationwide, Wednesday, June 1.

"Apol-acoustiX" features 12 acoustic parodies of some of the biggest names in rock history, including Elvis, the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, the Monkees, the Doors, Kid Rock, Green Day and others.

The project started in a similar way to Third Day's "Offerings" -- we wanted to record something especially for our fan club -- but as we immersed ourselves in the project, we really liked the way it was turning out, so we spent a lot of extra time on it -- and the response from our fans has been so great that we've decided to release it to stores.

Here are some of the fan responses:

"I wanted to say hi and that I LOVE the CD that I received yesterday!!!! I honestly think that it is my favorite so far. I love all of the music that you guys play, but there is something really special about this one!! It is so much more special with just the guitars and the voices....it really touched my heart. There were a couple of songs that brought tears to my eyes because they touched me so deeply. You guys are blessed with such talent!!"
