Apol-aerobiX: Sweatin' to the 'GetiX
Mon., Jun. 20. 2005 2:36am EDT
Years ago we worked on a secret project for a Texas company who wanted to produce a workout CD of ApologetiX songs. The songs were arranged so their tempos would help raise the pace of the exercises to maximize aerobic benefit. That project actually went all the way to the factory, then died when the company went out of business.
Although we're totally not interested in ever doing anything like that ever, ever again, we do get asked once in a while for help picking songs for a workout, as in this email:
HI Karl!
I spoke with one of my aerobics teachers this morning and she said to find out which songs have 126 to 128 beats per minute. I guess that's the beat we need to sweat to!
Thanks again.
