Last Weekend in TX, MO & PA
Mon., Sep. 12. 2005 10:26pm EDT
Thanks to the enthusiastic throngs who teemed into our concerts this past weekend in Leander TX (near Austin), Sikeston MO, and New Brighton PA (near Pittsburgh). You guys were great!
Special thanks to:
James Maxwell and his staff, who organized the Leander concert; plus Pastor Bren; Dave the chauffeur (and Jim Rome look-alike); and Libby, Mary, Bev, and Melissa, who ran our CD table. Thanks also to Power 106.7 FM, including Richie (alias "Charlie"), and KNLE's Sherland Priest.
Charles Palmer, who coordinated the Sikeston show, with help from Rick Lasley. Charles was also our chauffeur for the eight-hour round trip to the Nashville airport, as was his helper, Sean, who handled much of the publicity for the event, along with Charles and Fred Lumsden. Thanks also to Charles and Sean's wives, Heather and Debbie, who ran the CD table, and to WGCF, WBEO, and Star 92.9 FM.
Ricky Greathouse and his staff, who put together the New Brighton concert, and to Karen and Bill, who supervised the CD table. Thanks also to Greg and Larry and the rest of our local helpers.
We'll be back in Texas for three concerts next month (October 13-15 in Corpus Christi, Lindale, and McAllen) and in Pennsylvania for four concerts on September 15 (Albion - near Erie), September 24 (State College), and October 22 and 23 (Wilmerding and Penn Hills - both near Pittsburgh).
We don't have any more Missouri concerts scheduled at this time, but we generally play there several times a year (including five times in 2005 already), so we should be back soon, God willing!
