Just One of Those South Africa Kind of Days
Tue., Oct. 4. 2005 2:09am EDT
Monday, October 3, was a South Africa kind of day. On the last flight home from our trip to the Pacific Northwest, Karl sat next to a guy from South Africa, who had a lot of questions about Jesus and whether He was "the Way" or just "a way."
God opened up the doors for a really great conversation between the two of them. After we landed and got in the van, Karl checked email, and lo and behold, there was an email from somebody else in South Africa, a fan named David Gardiner, who said:
I live in South Africa and love your stuff. O.K., admittedly I don't actually own any of your CDs but I was wanting to ask if you know of anywhere in SA that stocks them?
I work as a piano tuner and technician apprentice and play guitar, violin, trumpet, mandolin, harmonica and banjo for our worship team at church. I've also written a few worship songs so I appreciate the good technical skill you guys demonstrate on your songs ...
I lead the youth at our church as well. It's just a small group of about 10 African guys but they love your Emenim (spoofs) and if ever you come to SA on tour we'll be sure to come along.
So anyways this was mostly just a message of appreciation ... I love the newsletter as well by the way ...
Thanks, David! Then you really ought to love this week's newsletter, because you're in it! And to answer your question:
Yes, ApologetiX CDs have been available in South Africa since 2000 through a distributor called Family Resources.
