Who is Steve Kayner?

Although never an official member of ApologetiX and not featured on any of our CDs you can buy in stores, Steve Kayner did play all of the bass on our 1993 cassette, "Isn't Wasn't Ain't," which was re-released as a limited-edition 10th anniversary CD in 2003.

A founding member and bass player of the progressive Christian rock band, Omni, Steve first met ApologetiX at the Paradise Club in Irwin, PA, in 1992. He also played fill-in bass for ApologetiX at a few concerts in 1992-94.

Steve later moved to the Milwaukee area, but is now married and living in the Greater Pittsburgh area again. As of February 2005, he was playing with a local band called the Return.
