ApologetiX in Wisconsin, Florida, California, New
Sun., Aug. 12. 2001 1:22am EDT

J. Jackson, lead singer for ApologetiX (That Christian Parody Band) here.

Hey, I promise to get you some clues to the contents of our upcoming CD, "Keep the Change," soon (Look for it in stores on September 25), but right now, I'm in a rush, because I'm trying to take care of fine tuning the lyrics and liner notes. My apologies to any of you who are waiting a personal response to e-mail. I'm working on it! Between going to Creation 2001 and running our booth there, then going on vacation, then going to California last weekend, I'm still playing catch-up ball!

I hope we get to see all you Wisconsin/Illinois fans at LiFest this weekend! We'll be playing two shows, and I have the times for the sound checks listed, too, in case you want to catch those. Sometimes we try out brand new songs then, so you might hear something from the new CD that you wouldn't hear in concert. No guarantees, though.

Keith Harrold has already laid down the drums for his three tracks on the new CD, and our own Bill Rieger is in his third day of recording drums, with Karl in the producer's chair. Please keep us all in prayers that we can make this our best CD and our best performance yet! Thanks!

Here's our upcoming schedule. We're always adding new concerts, so look carefully!
