APX Interview on KKLA This Thursday
Mon., May. 24. 2010 1:23pm EDT
ApologetiX lead singer and lyricist J. Jackson will be a guest this Thursday, May 27, at 6:25 p.m. PST (9:25 p.m. EST) on the Frank Pastore Show on KKLA in Los Angeles, the largest Christian talk radio audience in the United States.

Frank is a former major-league pitcher with the Cincinnati Reds and Minnesota Twins (1979-86) and professor of apologetics at Biola University. He has interviewed J. a number of times in the past decade, first as a fill-in host on Warren Duffy Live (also on KKLA), although he's had his own show now for over six years.

Frank's autobiography, "Shattered: Struck Down, But Not Destroyed," just came out last month. Both J. and ApologetiX guitarist Tom Milnes read the book this past weekend. J.'s wife, Lisa, is currently reading it, and ApologetiX guitarist Keith Haynie has already asked to be next in line.
It's far more than a baseball story or the story of radio talk-show host; it's a real page-turner. Frank's life has had some really interesting twists and turns, and he and co-author Ellen Vaughn have come up with a book that does an excellent job of capturing Frank's keen sense of humor and commitment to Christ.
