Last Chance for Tom Milnes

After over three years, four CDs, and 212 shows, guitarist Tom Milnes plans to hang up his ApologetiX spurs at the close of our concert this Saturday, December 10, in Butler PA.
That means this Friday and Saturday are your last chances to see him in captivity as a full-fledged touring ApologetiX member. We plan to release him into the wild immediately thereafter.
But seriously, folks, Tom is such a vital part of what we do that he says he'll still be "joined at the hip" to us. We definitely feel joined at the heart. Don't be surprised if you see him opening up for us as an occasional solo act (he's an outstanding solo singer/songwriter), a guest preacher, and a possible fill-in guitarist in the future.
Tom has been helping us groom our new keyboardist, Todd Waites, to be his successor on harmony (and humor-y) vocals since March and is confident it'll be a smooth transition.
Tom Milnes and Tom Tincha forged a formidable line-up as TNT. Once we added Todd, we called it TN3, but we knew that was temporary, so.now we're preparing for T-Minus-Milnes. In fact, we've already played nine out of our last 20 concerts (and 11 total this year) with just Tinch and Todd, as per Tom M.'s request.
We love Tom very dearly, but he feels called to spend more time with the Inferno youth group he pastors with his wife, Barb, and children, Sheila and Eric ... and we don't mind being runner-up to something as important as that.
