What Do You Give the Band Who Has Everything?
Wed., Dec. 21. 2011 1:20pm EST
Regardless of any trials we have faced in 2011, the members of ApologetiX realize that we have very blessed lives. As our lead singer J. Jackson says, "I get to live the American dream of singing in a rock band and the Christian dream of being in full-time ministry."
God has blessed us with beautiful families. The seven members of this band who participated in the making of Wise Up and Rock has a total of 20 children among them.
God has also blessed us with the best fans in the world ... and all over the world, based on the emails we receive from every continent except Antarctica (don't know what they have against us there -- we're from Pittsburgh, so you'd think they'd be Penguins fans, too).
We're not out to have number-one records or play enormous stadiums. We just want to share the biblical messages in our parodies with as many people as possible. And we don't care how successful or unsuccessful we appear, as long as the bills get paid so we can continue.
December and January are always the toughest time of year for ApologetiX financially. This year's vehicle problems, cancelled concerts, and harsh economy have made things worse.
If the ministry of ApologetiX has blessed you, and you'd like to help us, please consider any of the following five things:
1. Pray (it's free, but it's priceless)
2. Buy our CDs or downloads
3. Donate online at: http://www.apologetix.com/store/store-donate.php
4. Donate by check payable to "ApologetiX" and sent to ApologetiX, 208 Charlemma Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15214-1414
5. Ask about booking a concert at your church at booking@apologetix.com
Thank you and God bless you. Merry Christmas! Seeing you at one of our concerts in 2012 will help make it a happy new for us.
