Skeptical Fan: New CD "Kicked Down My Door"

Rather than share a bunch of fan reviews of Hot Potato Soup this week, we thought this one would suffice. We think you'll see why:I was starting to wonder about the band, if it was running out of steam. Between bus troubles and some of the past albums starting to sound the same, I was convinced it was over.
Then your last album was a heartbeat on the monitor, and I thought that maybe, just maybe ... Now, with Hot Potato Soup, you kicked down my door and got in my face and said, "Hey, guess who's back?" Well, you are, guys -- you are certainly back.
I found "Lived the Day You Died" so moving, it was perhaps the best song on the album, which is tough to do in this work -- they are all so good.
"Guard Your Candle," "Weep Jeremiah," "Too Pregnant," "You've Got Another King Comin'," I thought were just absolutely inspired. They are all good, really solid and I am just really glad I bought this album.
Thanks for all the hard work you guys do,
Al Thompson
