Mail from a Missionary in Bali, Indonesia
Thu., Oct. 30. 2014 10:40am EDT
We received a nice note last week from a missionary in Bali, an island and province of Indonesia located between Java and Lombok. There are over 4 million people there, 85 percent of whom are Balinese-Hindu and 12 percent of whom are Muslim.
To protect their missionary work, we've withheld that person's name, but here's an excerpt from their email:Just wanted to say I really appreciate the good work you guys are doing. I have been listening to some teaching this week about faith and finances. And I have been reading your newsletters, and I feel led to give to you guys. God bless and keep up the good work. The money should arrive within a few days. I hope you guys can use it well.
Anyway, God bless,
Your friendly missionary in Bali Needless to say, we are always deeply honored when anybody on the front lines of the faith chooses to listen to and write to ApologetiX, let alone give to us. in another email, our friendly missionary in Bali also said this:I really love your music since I fell in love with it way back when I was given Adam Up as a gift for my birthday. Since then I've been a fan. You know the funny side is, most or songs I've never heard the original, and it makes karaoke nights interesting!
