New Single: 70's & 80's Rock Spoofs
Sun., Jun. 5. 2016 10:33pm EDT
We've just released our 12th single of 2016, which spoofs these two rockers from the 70's and 80's:
1. Amos (Layla by Derek and the Dominos)
2. Malachi (Abacab by Genesis)
Yes, you heard us do a parody of "Layla" live in 2009, but that was the acoustic version from Eric Clapton's Unplugged in the 90's. This is a parody of the full-fledged seven-minute rocker from the early 70's.
In fact, our parody of "Abacab" also spoofs the full-length version of that song and not just the single, so "Malachi" clocks in at 6:53. Consequently, this is the longest ApologetiX single, with about 14 minutes of music.
Both songs are available together as a download for a donation of any amount to the ministry of ApologetiX.
