Keith Haynie Returns from Nashville, Rumors Abound

When ApologetiX bass player Keith Haynie headed to Nashville TN last Thursday the speculation began — was the longtime metalhead going country in his old age?
Returning home on Tuesday, he was eager to quell any fears and dispel any doubts. Keith stated that he was only helping his daughter Sarah and her husband, Dusty, move into their new home.
Keith also claims that he attended no country music shows while in Music City, USA. Are we really supposed to believe that? Has anybody else ever done such a thing?
Inside sources confirm that his wife and kids are big fans of country music. Perhaps Sarah and Dusty's move is just the start of something bigger? And what about rumors of a proposed country supergroup called "Toby Keith Haynie"?
Shortly thereafter, a second rumor surfaced that Keith was scouting the Nashville Predators hockey team as a potential opponent should the Pittsburgh Penguins advance to Stanley Cup Final. Curiously, the bashful bassist refused to comment, although some say he had a "puckish grin."
The truth almost certainly lies somewhere in between … Nashville and Ellwood City PA.
