ApologetiX: That Christian Wedding Band?

Friday, June 16, was the 21st anniversary of the first wedding reception ApologetiX ever played — at the Slovak Hall in Mount Pleasant PA. The fact that it's also the only wedding reception we've ever played tells you all you need to know.
We've turned down many offers to play weddings since then; once was definitely enough! Yes, we've spoofed many of the songs that wedding bands thrive on ("Mony Mony," "Old Time Rock and Roll," "Takin' Care of Business" et al), but it's not our niche.
Speaking of weddings and anniversaries, there have been a lot of ApX wedding anniversaries this month: Bob & Michelle Flaherty (June 2), J. & Lisa Jackson (June 3), Bill "Moose" & Chris "Mrs. Moose" Rieger (June 6), and Keith & Krista Haynie (June 9).
Congrats, you crazy kids!
