Help & Prayer Needed
Fri., Sep. 29. 2017 1:21pm EDT
J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here.
On this date in 2007, ApologetiX played its 1000th concert. And now, exactly 10 years later, I'm writing our 1000th appeal letter. I know it must seem like that.
It's actually been a little over two months since the last one. In the meantime, Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria have caused so much devastation. Our needs seem quite small and insignificant in comparison.
Nevertheless, I'm responsible for making sure that the members and expenses of this band (and my family) get paid. And if I don't ask right now, it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
Believe me, I always ask God before I ask our fans. But I ask Him daily. I don't feel bad about that, because His resources are unlimited, and He knows our hearts and our needs.
Conversely, our fans have limited resources and needs of their own. But today, Jonathan's words in 1 Samuel 14:6 came to mind: "Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few."
If you'd like to help, there are different ways you can do so:
1. Pray
2. Get our CDs, DVDs, songbook, USBs, lapel pins, singles, etc. at apologetix.com/store
3. Give online: http://www.apologetix.com/store/store-donate.php
4. Give by mail: ApologetiX, 208 Charlemma Dr., Pittsburgh PA 15214
Donations aren't tax deductible, but anything you give does more than you can imagine. Thank you!
J.
