How Did the New Single Get Here So Fast?
Fri., Feb. 15. 2019 12:08pm EST

Yes, we know this week's single may seem kind of sudden. You literally had no clue it was coming, because we didn't publish any clues in our last newsletter. To tell you the truth, we kind of surprised ourselves!

Here's what happened: Our previous single "Full of Yourself" and "(Check Out) The Book" was a week late, but the delay occurred in the final mixing stage. Consequently, work was already well underway on the follow-up single, and this time the final mixing went very smoothly.

Next thing you know, we had singles on back-to-back weeks, but really it was just a matter of us reverting to the original schedule. So, we hope to have our next single out sometime around Sunday, February 24.

The tracks for one of those songs are already finished but they still have to go to final mixing. The instrumental tracks for the other should be done by this Sunday night and we hope to record vocals next week.

Who'd have thought we could get three singles out in February, the shortest month of 'em all? Praise the Lord!

In case you're bummed about not having clues last week, here's what they were:

SONG #1
Ephesians 6:12 helps us draw the line between human conflict and the ultimate sources behind it. When push comes to shove, we're not fighting flesh and blood but powerful fallen angels from the other side. Love the dude, hate the demons. What it takes to fight 'em is the amazing armor of God. Get a grip on that and you'll be fine.

SONG #2
When ancient Christian men and women neared the Colosseum and heard the roar of the crowd, it reminded them of the cost of serving Christ. But their reaction to actions taken against them won many souls. That was yesterday, yet we still find ourselves at war with the world in the modern day. Are you worried what your friends see?

Our Facebook followers got to see these clues in advance, but the newsletter came out long before we knew we'd have a single so soon.
