Clues for 2021 Single #18

We plan to release our 18th single of 2021 by the end of this weekend, Lord willing. Here are your clues. Think you know the artists or songs? See how many references within the clues you can spot. We counted 16 — eight per song.
SONG #1
Although safely inside the ark, Noah could've felt like a forgotten man in the cabin down below. How many more days till it would finally be time to move on to dry ground? Lesser men might have suffered a nervous breakdown, but Noah and the ark were both built to last. Then, one day, the flood's refugees saw that first flash of freedom.
SONG #2
Some say seeing is believing, but Jesus taught Thomas you can't only base your faith on what your senses have taken in. Though Thomas was elated to see his Lord among the living, years later his martyrdom underscored how far he'd come. You don't need a wonder like walking on the water for something to believe in, but God still sends signs.
