HELP STILL NEEDED
The following appeared last Friday in our newsletter, but some of our news bulletin readers don't get that, so we're including it below:
J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here.
Five weeks ago, I sent out our first appeal letter since January. The seven previous months had been our longest stretch in at least a decade without asking our fanbase for help.
As always, fans did help, but occasionally we have to ask a second time. And that's the uncomfortable position I find myself in right now.
The band has several big expenses coming due on Monday, plus more this coming week and thereafter. On top of that, ApX is still many months behind in paying me, and my family has big expenses coming up, too.
I hate sending out appeal letters, and I doubly hate having to send out follow-up appeals. But it's part of my job, just as is singing, writing lyrics, putting newsletters together, corresponding with fans, paying bills, etc.
The finances we need ultimately come from the same God we rely upon to provide our lyrics and the ability to perform our parodies. He's been providing abundantly in those other areas (as you can read in the first article below), so we trust He'll take care of the rest.
If you'd like to help, here are some options:
1. Pray (first and foremost)
2. Get our singles and/or CDs:
3. Get multiple MP3s for one donation:
4. Get our complete library (1603 tracks) on MP3 for $100:
5. Get our digital interactive songbook for a donation of $50 at:
6. Get our new 16 GB USBs:
7. Get a 30th anniversary challenge coin:
8. Give online:
9. Give by mail:
ApologetiX, 208 Charlemma Dr., Pittsburgh PA 15214
Donations are not tax deductible. Please only give if you feel led and can afford it. When we put up a "help wanted" sign, we never know who's going to come through the door. But we know God will come through regardless.
