ApologetiX & the Three Investigators
Mon., Aug. 21. 2006 2:13am EDT
This past Saturday, our lead guitarist, Karl Messner, heard our lead singer, J. Jackson, talking to his daughter on the phone about Three Investigators mystery books (similar to the Hardy Boys) he and his wife, Lisa, both read while growing up. It was the first time Karl had ever heard of the series. The next day, he received this email:
Y'all's music is amazing!!! Just what I've been searching for. I first heard of you from one of the musicians at an Emmaus weekend, but I never followed up on the tip. Then, while vacationing in Leavenworth KS the other week, I picked up "Apol-acoustiX" for $2 at the Salvation Army Thrift Store (where I was looking for Three Investigator books. Incidentally, I got Office 97 Professional for $1 too).
When I got home and checked on-line for more CDs, you were having the half-off sale, but it ended that night. Luckily, my wife loves your music too and we were able (re: budget) to get four more CDs. It'll be great for our five children too (three months to nine and a half years old). Now that I've got the CDs - I want all of them. I've been telling lots of friends about your music. The Christians who love/hate the secular music (like me) really are excited.
Thanks again, Matthew

Thanks, Matthew. Please tell Jupiter Jones, Pete Crenshaw, and Bob Andrews we said hello. Give our regards to Worthington, too, but watch out for Skinny Norris!
